Commissions
Overview
Commissions side panel displays the applicable commission plans for the selected trading instrument.
Refer to Rewards to view your progress towards the next commission plan based on the achievements of certain targets.
Definitions

Maker order: order that adds liquidity to the market. Maker order goes to the order book in-full or partially. For example, limit orders add liquidity to the market. Some orders can be executed partially in aggressive and in passive mode.

Taker order: order that is traded immediately in-full or partially before going to the order book. For example, market orders never go to the order book. Some orders can be executed partially in aggressive and in passive mode.

Some order types can be both Taker and Maker depending on the market conditions. For example, Limit IOC and Limit FOK orders are taker orders despite being limit orders.

Taker Commission: charged in case the order is executed in the aggressive mode.

Maker Commission: charged in case the order is executed in the passive mode (order/part of order arrives in the order book).

Flat Commission: applies to orders as is, regardless of their quantity.

Base Currency: usually the first currency in the currency pair.
Represents how much of the Term currency is needed to buy one unit of the Base currency.
Quantity is measured in the Base currency units, unless BaseCurrency=XXX
(applicable for marginal trading, when there is no account for trading currency). -
Term Currency: usually the second currency in the currency pair and is used to determine the value of the Base currency.

Currency Pair: BTC/USD - baseCurrency/termCurrency.

Commission Account: the account the commission is taken from.

Source Account: the commission account is a source account.

Destination Account: the commission account is a destination account.

Buy: base/term - destinationAccount/sourceAccount.

Sell: base/term - sourceAccount/destinationAccount.

Progressive Commission: scales with the order's quantity. (orderQty*commissionValue). Calculated in %.

Commission Plan B:

Buyer Taker Commission Flat = 1
If the Average Balance or Total Volume get overpassed, the plan A shifts to the plan B.
Commission Plans

Current Fee Tier: the commission plan that is currently applied to the selected currency pair.

Next Fee Tier: the commission plan that is going to apply once any of the below conditions are met. Click the ? icon to view the next commission plan for each parameter. The progress bar shows your status for each parameter.

Average Daily Balance: average balance on all accounts for a specific time period (30 days by default). If overpassed, the commission plan is deactivated or switched to the Next Fee Tier.

Total Volume: total trading volume for a specific time period (30 days by default). If overpassed, the commission plan is deactivated or switched to the Next Fee Tier.

Total Commission: the total trading commission value for 30 days.
