Account

Overview

The Account section represents a graphical output for the Account Widget. Here you can configure some of the security settings for the ORY Hydra account:

change password
enable a multi-factor authentication for application login

Important

This section is available only for clients with ORY Hydra OAuth provider integration. Contact your admin in case this section is disabled or does not properly operate.

Two-Factor Authentication

TIP

This functionality can be enabled/disabled by the system admin. Contact your admin for more information in case disabled or does not operate as expected.

Google authenticator required to set a two-factor authentication for the user account.

Use toggle to open a Two Factor Authentication window.
Scan the QR code with your Google Authenticator application.
Enter the verification code generated for your account by the Google Authenticator.
Click Confirm to save and submit.

CAUTION

Be aware, that verification code is required to disable a two-factor authentication. User is prompted to enter a verification code with each sign-in.

TIP

Be aware, that the verification code is required to create API Keys.

Change Password

Important

Be aware, that contact email address must be submitted to the system to reset/change password.

Follow the instructions in the pop-up window to reset a user account password.
