Internal Transfers
Overview
Within CWUI, an Internal Transfer refers to the movement of funds between the accounts in the same currency of different CWUI users. In the Internal Transfer History table, you can view all internal transfers, starting from the most recent.
Refer to Transfers to learn more about other types of transfers.
The Internal Transfers screen allows you to initiate or request transfers of funds with other CWUI users. Additionally, you can view and manage all your internal transfers on this screen.
To view all your internal transfers in the Transactions Report, select Transfer Send and Transfer Receive in the Type column of the report.
Operation Flow
When an internal transfer is initiated by a CWUI user, it can acquire several states throughout its lifecycle:
-
An internal transfer is always initiated by a CWUI user.
-
In the PENDING state, it can be cancelled either by a DTS Operator or by the user.
-
When an operation is approved by a DTS Operator, a CWUI user is prompted to take an action to either accept or reject it. At this step, a user can also cancel the operation. Please note: the recipient of the internal transfer can see only transfers approved by DTS Operators, while the sender sees all the existing transfers in the Transfer History.
-
When accepted by a user, the operation proceeds to the final state, when it gets settled, rejected, or cancelled. This stage is usually realized automatically by the system.
Funds on a source DTS account are reserved (blocked) until the transfer transaction is either successfully processed, cancelled, or rejected. This ensures the funds are temporarily set aside for that specific transaction.
