| LTC/BTC | 0.0046525 | 0.0046520 |
The trader has accounts with the following total balances:
| Account | Balance |
|---|---|
| BTC | 2 |
| USD | 1000 |
| LTC | 10 |
Conversion Instrument Selection Rule
Refer to Currency Trading Settings to learn how you can use Limit Currency for conversions.
-
Account currency = Base currency in the currency pair and Total Conversion Currency = Term currency in the currency pair.E.g.: LTCBTC to convert LTC account to BTC.OR
-
Account currency = Term currency in the currency pair and Total Conversion Currency = Base currency in the currency pair.E.g.: BTCUSD to convert USD account to BTC.
Conversion Rule
-
Account currency = Base currency in the currency pair. It is a
sell sideand we take abidprice for conversion. -
Account currency = Term currency in the currency pair. It is a
buy sideand we take a1/askprice for conversion. -
In case non of the above is applicable, conversion is not possible with the selected instrument.
-
Account BTC: Total Account Value = 2 BTC. No conversion is required.
-
Account USD: USD is a term currency in BTCUSD currency pair. In this case, to convert the total account value to BTC, we take
1/askprice = 1/9540. Total Account Value = 1000 * 1/9540 ~ 0.104822 BTC -
Account LTC: LTC is a base currency in LTCBTC currency pair. In this case, to convert the total account value to BTC, we take
bidprice = 0.0046525. Total Account Value = 10 * 0.0046525 ~ 0.046525 BTC
Total Value in BTC of all three accounts = 2 + 0.104822 + 0.046525 = 2.151347 BTC
